WordCamp NOLA – The After Party

I had my first true Geek outing this past weekend. I found out that WordCamp was coming to the NOLAs, and I jumped at the chance to be with my peoples, and make the once-yearly venture out of my house. It was so well worth it. I got to meet some amazing people, and a lot of them were people that I follow on Twitter and it was so amazing to finally meet them in person. I also made a lot of new contacts that I definitely hope to see again!

I was in information overload. Props to all the peeps who took notes, shared and live Tweeted on #WordCampNOLA.
Here’s some links that I culled from my WordCampNOLA Twitterfeed and if there are any ones that I’ve missed, let a sista know!

SEO Rockstar of NOLA gave a great presentation at WordCamp NOLA. I’m so stoked to have gotten to hang out with him in person- we’ve been long time followers on Twitter, and I’m privileged to know him. Check out his presentation here. You’ll learn a lot.
